Evolution of the School
To provide a yeoman service to the inquisitive tots of Kantabanji, to impart a high standard and updated education to the budding future of the nation, Kantabanji Lions Public School emerged as a shining ray of hope. Thus, this school, a noble dream of Mr. Pyarelal Jangada was established on 4th July 1994 in an auspicious moment in the soil of Kantabanji. It got a smart start under the direct guidance and dynamic chairmanship of Mr. Dewanand Agrawal. A devoted team of members dedicated themselves to the smooth maintenance of the academy.
With a noble aim and sincere effort, the school was inaugurated in a rented building. It was given a festive start with its LKG having only 66 students. In spite of a lot of hurdles and hindrances, a small team of devoted teachers brought an impressive revolution in the field of Nursery teaching in this area. The school management committee got full support from the parents, educationists, politicians, bureaucrats, businessmen as well as common people. Everyone stretched out a strong supportive hand to make a glorious journey with energetic progress, and sequentially the school became the epicenter of attention.
Today it is ranked as one of the best schools in the zone. The incessant herculean endeavors of the management committee created a spectacular impression within a short span of time. Later on, the school shifted to a new gigantic building with a sprawling campus of its own. It became possible only by the mercy and grace of Almighty God. The new school building is a triple-storeyed having 31 well-furnished smart classrooms besides the incumbents' cell. The school has 13 buses for the conveyance of the students.
An attractive children's park and playground, a special building for the tiny tots (Lions Play School) with ultramodern equipment catering to special learning environments along with computer lab, auditorium, science lab, mathematics lab, toys room, library, art and craft room, sick room, language lab, etc. in the school campus. Moreover, the dedicated management has already opened up a Boys' hostel for the far-off countryside children's education.
