Conditions for Admission

Important Note

Please read the following conditions carefully before proceeding with the admission process. Fulfillment of these conditions is mandatory for admission to Kantabanji Lions Public School.

  1. Prospectus Fee
    Parents who wish to get their children admitted to this school must obtain the prospectus at a cost of ₹500 for general and specific information about the school.
  2. Admission Period
    The regular time for admission is at the beginning of the academic year, i.e., in April.
  3. Transfer Students
    A new pupil who has attended any recognized school cannot be admitted without a School Leaving Certificate from the previous school. In case a student comes from another district, the countersign of the District Inspector of Schools is mandatory on the School Leaving Certificate and must be submitted at the time of admission.
  4. Admission Form
    The admission form should be filled out carefully, providing all the details as requested. The spelling should match the Birth Certificate and Aadhaar Card. APP ID and PEN number must be collected from the previous school and submitted at the time of admission.
  5. Health Declaration
    Any serious disease, mental or physical illness, or abnormal behavior must be declared to the Principal at the time of admission.
  6. Eligibility Criteria
    Class Age Requirement
    Tiny Tots 2½ to 3 years
    Pre-KG Above 3 years, Below 4 years
    LKG 4 years and above
    UKG 5 years and above
    Class I 6 years and above

    Documents Required

    Birth Certificate

    Original and photocopy of the student's birth certificate

    Aadhaar Card

    Copy of Aadhaar card of the student and parents/guardians

    Transfer Certificate

    TC from the previous school (for Class II and above)

    Photographs

    Two recent passport-size photographs of the student

    Address Proof

    Any government-issued address proof document

    Admission Confirmation

    Admission will be confirmed only after:

    • Submission of all required documents
    • Successful completion of the evaluation process
    • Payment of all applicable fees
  7. Important Instructions
    • Incomplete applications or false information may lead to cancellation of admission
    • Admission is subject to seat availability and performance in the entrance examination (if applicable)
    • The school reserves the right to amend or update admission criteria as per directives from the education board or regulatory bodies
